Privacy Policy
NovaNote is a freemium app developed by Salvati Francesco. The app lets users create notes, notebooks, attachments, scans, drawings, audio recordings and other personal content.

Analytics, tracking and advertising
NovaNote does not use advertising tracking, does not sell personal data, does not send analytics events to developer-managed servers and does not create user profiles.
User-created data
Notes, notebooks, text, images, scans, drawings, PDF attachments, audio recordings, saved locations, calendar information and other content created or imported by the user remain on the user's device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, may be synced through the user's personal iCloud storage and Apple services.
NovaNote does not operate its own servers to store this content, and Salvati Francesco does not access personal content saved by the user in the app or in the user's iCloud storage.
App permissions
- Camera and scanner: to capture documents, images and scans.
- Photos and files: to import or export images, PDFs and attachments.
- Microphone: to create audio recordings in notes.
- Location: to associate a location with a note or use map features.
- Calendar: to link or manage event-related information when requested by the user.
Permissions can be changed at any time in the device settings.
iCloud and Apple services
When iCloud is enabled, data may be synced through Apple services. iCloud, App Store, in-app purchases and other Apple services are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
Diagnostics
Any diagnostic data, crash logs or technical information collected by Apple depend on the user's device settings and Apple services. NovaNote does not receive custom analytics through its own servers.
User rights
You can contact the developer for privacy requests. Since NovaNote does not operate its own servers for user content, the developer may be unable to access, modify or delete data stored only on the user's device or personal iCloud storage.
Terms of Service
License
Use of NovaNote is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/macapps/stdeula/, unless additional terms are required by applicable law.
Use of the app
The user is responsible for content created, imported, edited, exported, shared or deleted through NovaNote and must use the app in compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.
Availability and liability
NovaNote is provided "as is" and "as available". Although we work to keep the app stable, updated and secure, we cannot guarantee that it will always be free from errors, interruptions, bugs, incompatibilities or loss of functionality.
The app may depend on the device, operating system, iCloud, App Store and other Apple services. Issues with these services may affect NovaNote's operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Salvati Francesco will not be liable for loss of data, notes, notebooks, attachments, recordings, images, scans, PDFs, drawings, locations, calendars, profits, business interruption or other direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, NovaNote.
Backups
The user is responsible for preserving their own content. We recommend keeping backup copies of important content and regularly checking iCloud sync, exports and attachments.
Reference version
In case of discrepancies between translations, the Italian version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
